Katie discovered a passion for drawing in 2013 while hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, where she kept her trail journal as a series of daily drawings and earned the trail name "Doodles." Since then, she has developed a unique style that blends the abstract repeating patterns of Zentangle with varied content to create unique and energetic illustrations for logos, coloring books, print, t-shirts, and more.
